fOUNDER sTORY

GoBanter was born out of a pub fail 🍺.

Smiles & vibes. Mates hyping me up. Courage engaged (well… maybe a little 😉).

I make my move across the room 🕺

Next minute, then out of nowhere, their towering partner swoops in and wraps an arm around them 🍸👀.

Cue me, stranded in no man’s land, pulling the most awkward retreat of my life 🏃‍♂️💨.

That’s when it hit me — the problem isn’t just courage, it’s mixed signals. Nobody really knows who’s open to connect IRL.

After plenty more awkward IRL disasters, GoBanter was born: to help awesome 🤩 humans connect in real life with less confusion, more safety, and way more fun.
