To keep our events safe, respectful, and fun for everyone, all attendees must follow these rules:

1. Respect Others – Treat fellow attendees, staff, and venue personnel with respect. No harassment, discrimination, or offensive behaviour. Harassment includes unwanted flirting, persistent advances, or sexual behaviour without consent.

2. Consent First – Always seek clear consent before engaging physically or personally.

3. Language & Behaviour – Keep it respectful – no abusive, intimidating, or unsafe conduct.

4. Privacy – Respect others’ privacy. Do not share personal details or stories without permission.

5. Recording – You may not record, photograph, or film others without their consent. GoBanter may take photos or video during the event for promotional purposes. Media notices will be displayed at entry. Attendees can request a no-media wrist sticker if they do not wish to appear.

6. Drink Responsibly – Excessive intoxication or unsafe behaviour will result in removal.

7. Venue Rules – Respect the hosting venue and its staff.

8. Liability & Risk Disclaimer – Attendees participate at their own risk. GoBanter is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage except where required by law. Any damage caused to venue property by an attendee must be covered by that attendee.

9. Age & Access – Events are 18+ only. Proof of age may be required. Entry is subject to venue capacity and the venue’s conditions of entry.

10. Data & Privacy Handling – By registering, you agree that GoBanter may collect and use your contact details for event administration and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

11. Report Issues – If you feel unsafe or witness inappropriate behaviour, alert GoBanter staff immediately.

GoBanter reserves the right to remove any attendee who breaches this Code.
